Pours light golden with a thick fluffy white head. Aroma of mango flavoring. Taste has some pleasant heavy mango flavor, accented by hop crispiness. Palate has lingering hops, heavy tropical fruit notes. Quite good.

Pours lightly hazy orange. The aroma is very fruity and full of mangoes. The flavor is of mango and resinous hops with a whole lot of malt. Full bodied. This one seems like more of a hazy IPA but it’s not marketed as such on the can/label.

A sizeable 19.2 oz can bought from Half Time. As I begin, with a 9.9% abv, this is a challenging beer, more like a malt liquor. Snifter ready to go, I tilt the can inside. The liquid is surprisingly clear, bright yellow-gold in color, a steady cover of icy white foam and a healthy carbonation. The mango nose is obvious, I cannot detect anything else. The drink is more restrained, certainly all the mango one could want in an IPA, some hops background, white bread and grain. I will say that the sensation is rather full, an extension of the substantial alcohol content I assume. A beer with a lot of presence, will I buy another? Probably not. Will I complete this one? Yes, a challenge but doable I think.

19.2 oz. can from a gas station. Pours a hazy gold color with an off-white head and great retention. Very good lacing. As expected, the mango aroma dominates. Brief initial mango flavor, interrupted by booze, making for a harsh finish. Not too good, yet better than their other Beer Hug varieties. Medium body and medium carbonation. Low bitterness. Too boozy.

A 19 oz $3 tallboy from jewel. For my first grill of the season. Pours a bright orange under a thick head. The smell does indeed have some mango, with maybe a little bit of wheat malt to it. The fruity mango taste actually goes pretty well with the rest of the beer. It kind of matches whatever hop additions are in it, which they don't mention on the cam.

Dark gold with a medium foamy head. Slightly bitter and tangy with strong mango and fruity hops. Long finish. Medium body.
