Tap @ Skagen. Dark reddish brown appearance with a tan head. A little nutty, toasty caramel malty, grassy, hay aroma. Not very exciting flavor like other Skagen lagers but this had some notes of hay, toffee, and nuts.

A pretty good beer. Nice roasted flavors and good bitterness also well rounded. A straight forward beer with no nonsence. Dark brown in color with a white head.

Murky brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is rye bread, sweet malty and not much else. Flavor is very sweet and very light bitter. Too sweet and unbalanced. I don’t like liquid rye bread. 191210

Deep ruby brown with a lasting off-white head. Rich malty aroma with bread and caramel, and notes of figs and dates. There’s a faint hint of meaty German smoke. Dry and malty flavour mostly of breadcrust with a full body and a good hoppy finish

On tap at the Brewpub, Skagen, Denmark 19-09-08 Pours dark brown with a light beige head. This is ok but as Loz say’s it lacks a little. There is some light cocoa and sweet malts, its fine.
