En mørk og fyldig “bayersk øl”,med en god sødme, fra den mørke munchermalt og svag bitterhed fra tyske humler.

Draught Deep red-mahogany to brown, with smallish golden rim. Chocolate, chocolate malts, and quite some bread, apty Bayerisch. Quite roasted, near burnt flavour, on sweet underlying malts and restsugars. Smoked finish. Aptly light, still, at 5%, might have just a tad more body. Very good in its style.

generally a very nice beer, but still it lacks some sort of coordination. i blind tasted it, and thought it was some sort of really weak stout. anyways - okay beer, but don’t expect style extravagance.

50cl bottle. Pours unclear/muddy amber/brown with a creamy head. Lots of caramel/toffee - slight roast. Sweet taste with a medium bitter end. Body is Ok filling - closer to thin than thick. Drinkable !

500ml bottle @ RBNAG’07. Clear amber body with a medium beige head. Aroma is caramel and malt. Flavor is malt, caramel and some bitterness. Medium body. Frankly, this is a very average beer, noting really wrong, but it’s quite difficult to describe so many flavors here as well. Guess I could say it’s an OK beer.

Thin yellowish beige head. Deep dark brown body with yeast particles. Caramel and malt aroma with earthy notes a licorice background. Dry medicinal licorice taste with strong malty notes light roastiness. Light dry roasty honeyish aftertaste. Nice, but not too exciting. (0.5l bottle from SuperBrugsen in Denmark, shared at RBNAG’07.)
