Good off-white head, irregular, over hazy deep-red beer with amberish sheen. Sweet jam-like fruity nose, obviously red fruit - or jam. Sweet fruit-jam taste still, but more watered-down than the nose suggested. Bit of (watered-down) caramel; dull. Light, watery and yet sticky MF, desptied very marked carbonation. Bof. Not bad, just like fruitsyrup-flavoured sparkling water...

Bottle. Unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, light yeasty, fruit sweet, raspberry, light acidic. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (010907)

Bottled (BB 09/2009)
Nutty brown color, cloudy, big lively off-white head, lace. "Organic", earthy aroma with spelt and grain. Sour, earthy and spicey flavor. Peppery aftertaste. Quite typical Eastern Belgium farmhouse ale, not the best of them unfortunately.

Bottled Hazy orange colour, mediumsized beige creamy/bubbly head. Aroma is sour fruits, some yeast and malts. Flavour is enormously sour and also has some bitter fruits and yeast in it.

La Saint-Hubert Cuvee du Borq, ABV 6%. Bottle: Poured a cloudy/hazy orange amber with a ton of carbonation that caused a fast acting thick cream head (although it subsided fast). The aroma was hoppy and fruit. The taste was sweet malt at first but finished bitter hoppy spice.

La Saint-Hubert Cuvee du Borq, ABV 6%. Slightly cloudy amber color, short head. Aroma of caramel malt, hops. Taste is also a combination of some caramel malt and sweetness and hoppy bitterness. Decent beer.

Dark amber ale. Strawberry aroma. Malt flavour and a bitter final (with no strawberry); dry, rather then sweet. Very light chocolate aftertaste.
