500ml Bottle conditioned: BBD Feb 2015, drank at a party on 7th June 2014. Golden, light and clear with a full white crown. Subdued nose and flavours, mild hoppiness over a mini malt base. Not too sure about this beer, didn’t notice the alcohol, so there must be some body within the make up, but I failed to find any flavours worthy of note.

Bottle from Branthill Farm Real Ale Shop, Norfolk. Hazy, pale gold. LOts of carbonation provides a thick, white, persistent head. Aroma is mineral, light lemon, red fruit, some orange zest. Some sweet malt. Taste is zesty dry. Overripe orange, at the end. Light oily palate. Long, dry, slightly spicy finish. Very nice.

50cl bottle thanks to Nustu. Pours a hazy golden with a nice head. The nose has pine and a hint of custard. The taste has a nice green note, so limes but primarily a flowerpot taste. The palate has a light to medium bodied and textured with a nice clean finish. Overall, a well balanced ale.

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Poured a hazy golden colour. Sweetish aroma with yeast the predominant factor mixed with vague malt and citrus. Flavour had quite an unpleasant slightly sour tang to it. Citrus was there but its all rather unbalanced and unpolished. Possibly on the turn. Not much in the way of finesse here. Average.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy golden with tiny floating impurities. Astringent chemical aroma. Medium body, fruity with some yeast and an astringent, bitter and chemical finish. Clearly infected - and in a most unpleasant way. 230808

Bottle, thx to Brugmansia. A slightly hazy golden-orange body is topped by an off-white head. The aroma has brett-like qualities, or maybe just sourish like the citrus that is the most evident aroma. It’s probably not intended, but at this stage it was nice. The flavor is citrusy and hoppy, quite dry and with a flavor of pale malt. Silky, thin and effervescent in the mouth, and with a citrusy, mostly lemony, finish. As already said, I’m sure the sourness isn’t intended, but at this stage, it was quite nice. (080823)

50cl bottle: Pours hazy golden with a small creamy white head. Very bitter & dry. Bites my cheek a bit. A lot of hops for a golden ale. Tiny sour note. Could be infected but quite drinkalbe!
