Enjoyable and smooth coffee stout, light and aromatic, roasted malt, coffee that it is subtle, hop, rather dry, a beer to drink quietly, 15.10.19, tasting it at home Epalinges, really good job.

Bottle at home. Pours jet black with a finger beige head. Nose is that of an IPA, piney resinous, but with a decent roasted/coffee touch. Its taste is hops, cocoa and a good proportion of coffee in a beautiful mixture. Closes with long, piney and coffee-y bitter finish has light to medium, moderately creamy body, and is easy to drink. Finally a black IPA that's black AND an IPA at the same time, and the perfectly portioned coffee is just the cherry on the top.

Tap @ Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017. Deep dark brown color. Caramel, roast and chocolate in the aroma. Dry sour flavor with roast, chocolate and lemon. Nice.

Shared 500 ml bottle, ABV is 7.0%. Dark (cola brown) colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of dark (but not heavily roasted) malts, chocolate, dust and grain, not much IPA aroma. More distinct and piney hops in the flavour, on a background of dark and dusty dry malts, cold sourish coffee and dark bitter chocolate.

500mL bottle, pours a filthy dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out earthy piney hops and medium roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy piney hops and medium roast. Nice balance between the hops and malt. Well-made.
