A gorgeous copper colour, brewed with 100% Goldings hops. The initial burst of hop is followed by a pleasant caramel taste that makes this ale dangerously drinkable

Gravicask at Spa Valley 9th Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Almost copper brown in the glass. Dotted spots from a low beige head. Toffee-fruity smell and a caramel fruity taste, hints of leafy hop bitterness to a semi-dry ending. Pretty alright. (Tunbridge Wells 18.10.2019).

500 ml bottle purchased from The Tiddly Pomme, Faversham. A clear, amber body with a off-white head. Rather mild aroma of fruity hops and malt. Refreshing, quite straight forward flavor. Smooth malt, fruity and some bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. A pleasant, uncomplicated British bitter.

50cl bottle picked up in Hastings. Amber with a loose cream head and moderate carbonation; the aroma has malts and caramel - almost candy floss; the flavour has barley sugar at first the some clean Kentish hops giving a pleasant bitterness, and then finally a hint of citrus.

Cask at GBBF 2007. An amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry bitter and nutty finish.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Amber, lasting off white head. Distinctive hop aroma. Green apple though, so perhaps a little young, will be better on the next day or two 2.4. Re rate Nelson Arms Tonbridge Clear amber pale brown colour lasting cream head. Decent best bitter. Some good malts. Some hedgerow fruits. Typical English hops are pretty decent. I thought pretty good.

Darkish amber. Grassy aroma with hints of toffee. Light bodied with nice malt character. Fruity and chocolatey. A flavourful light ale with well balanced bitterness.
