Golden colour. Earthy, mossy hop character. Nice, fruity (berry), herbal character with a gentle, sugary malt sweetness. Balanced, nice easy drinking character. The finish has nuances of acidity and mineral.

Cask, handpump at The Mill Hotel, Chester, Cheshire, 25-04-10 This is crystal clear gold with a white head. I get vanilla, its less crisp, smoother and softer than the Phoenix beer that tried alongside. A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Gravity cask, sample on the third day of GBBF 09. Shiny golden body. Fresh fruity aroma of peaches and oranges. Taste of hop resin, notes of berries and subdued malty sweetness. Prolonged aftertaste of rounded bitterness. Refreshing. A Welsh bitter over the average for the style (Earls Court, 06.08.2009).
