A refreshing thirst quenching pale golden session beer. Malty undertones and a powerful spicy hop aroma combine to produce a dangerously moreish beer.

Clear yellow appearance. Not much of an aroma to this one. Flavour has a tart apple acidity and some sweeter fruity tones too. Finish is dry.

On tap @ Thomson’s Bar. Pours golden, slightly hazy with a decent head. The nose has hay and some meadow flowers. The taste has more of the floral thing but with a lemon zing on the end. The palate is medium bodied with a light to medium texture and a nice refreshing finish. Overall, very drinkabale indeed.

Cask@Knott Bar, Manchester. Golden looks with a minimal white head. Aroma was largely restrained and was a mixture of bready malts, grassy hop and a dash of citrus. The juicy fruit notes stood out in the flavour alongside some decent hoppage. Nicely lingering bitter finish. A decent easy drinking beer, that has some good character for the strength.

(Cask at Gallows Real Ale Festival 2011) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had citricness and fruitiness. Palate was quite light bodied and dry. Flavours were fruitiness, hops, citricness, grain, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. Quite nice brew but too thin.

Cask at the Old Fountain Beer Festival. Clear, yellow-gold pour with a foamy, white head. Pleasant citric hop aroma with some grass. Very nicely balanced flavor. Sweet and bready with light citrus and straw bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, mildly bitter, with a bready aftertaste. Solid overall.

(Cask at Railway, Stockport, 24 July 2009) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, grass, hay and a touch of toffee. Fruity taste with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, grass and a slightly tart grapefruit bitterness that emerges after a while. Fairly light body, nice hop character. Tasty.
