Barrel Aged Apple Sour. We love complex and sour beers. For this one, we reached out to our friends at MacIvors and put our heads together. We made a Golden blond and blended it with wild fermentation Irish Cider from MacIvors. A friendly cider acidity kick followed by a dry and subtle maltiness which ends with a refreshing thirst quenching fruitiness.

On tap at Haandfest. A yellow-golden beer with a white head. Quite clear, and leaving lacing. Green apples and lemon dominates the aroma, with some bread notes, citrus, grass and yeast chiming in. Tart, medium bodied and dry mouthfeel with flavors of green apples up front. Grass, some yeast and bread as well as a generic citrus juice flavor lurks in the back. Lasting lemony, sour finish with apples. A bit yeasty this one, but sure refreshing. 170527'
