The Púca was a mystical force, manifesting itself in multiple forms. It was believed that beer was created magically, a sort of soup possessed by the spirits; but wild yeast was of course the magic at play. For this cloudy, crisp, tart and fruity beer style, we have fostered our own wild yeast. It brings the complexity, the surprise, and it certainly bring the magic.

Description:
A beautiful pink mixed fermentation beer, brewed with our house cultivated wild yeasts.

Using our Púca Lemon as the base beer, we then added loads of ginger to the oil followed by additions of hibiscus, rose hips, strawberries, raspberries and elderberries.

Tasting Notes:
A tart and refreshing wheat beer brewed with oats, lemon peel, ginger and coriander. The flavour and aroma are dominated by fresh citrus and hibiscus notes. Beautifully balanced acidity, with an ultra refreshing finish.

Ingredients:
Water, barley, wheat, oats, lemon, coriander, hibiscus, ginger, rosehips & berries.

Tap @ In de Wildeman. Orange blonde. Indeed a floral aroma and flavor. Traubenzucker and peach. Sour. Nice.

Can from Whole Foods, Kensington. Orangey-pink with no head. Looks flat but actually has quite a prickly fizz. Weird aroma - couldn't decided if I liked the smell or not, it was just strange and I couldn't even think of anything it reminded me of. The taste is a lot nicer though - tart ribena with light floral hints and a mild ginger kick at the back of the throat. The finish is very dry, but leaves a lemony aftertaste. Pretty decent despite the inauspicious beginning.

Bottle at Murphy’s Law. Clear light red with not much head. Indeed some berries, lemon, sour grains, lactic sour, a hint of ginger and lime, fruity and grassy hops, a hint of bready malts. Medium sour, light sweet and bitter. Over light bodied. Nice for a hot day like today.

Original review text: 330ml can from Monster and Beer, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a hazy dark reddish pink colour with a short-lived fizzy off white head. The aroma is big lemon citrus, yeast, red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate sour, with a light, crisp, tart citrus, light lactose, light ginger spice palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. Rather nice actually, but one of those beers you can only drink in small quantities.
