Dark roasted sweet malty with opulent layers of rum and bourbon infused wooden accents, some chocolate, molasses, full bodied, more barrel action into the malty close. Very nice.

Lots of fun. Very rich. Some wood. Vanilla, stewed dark fruits. Booze. Gooey chocolate. Nicely balanced if punchy. Jammy dark fruits. Excellent.

CBJ tasting. Thanks to me. Opaque dark brown beer, short lived tan head. Smooth palate, soft, mellow carbonation, fine for the style. Soft rich dark chocolate malts, chocolate fudge. Wonderful blend of rum and bourbon fruitiness. Rich and ripe. Mild spice. Smooth and luxuriant. Nice cookie sweetness coming through on the back end. Lovely smooth Impy.

Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. An oily opaque black brown coloured pour with no head. Aroma is semi sweet, oily, hazelnut, praline, dark chocolate, peanut, salty popcorn. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, oily, super oily, chocolate fluff marshmallow,. Palate is medium sweet, chewy, oily, velvety. Lovely.
