Draft at the brewpub during the Post Christmas Bamberg Jolly - January 2014. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with big, fluffy white head. Great balance, light hay, cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet pale bread in the finish, biscuits, hay. Good drinkable stuff.

At Wilde Rose, bamberg. Golden yellow beer, medium head. Aroma is grain, taste is grain and sweet, some ’’brinta’’ porridge flavor.

Tap at the hotel. Crystal clear, with slow bubbles and a tall, fine head. Lemony hop nose, crisp saltine crackers. Classic Helles. Flavors of lemon, bread, grass, a touch of honey. Crisp, light, and very drinkable. Smooth stuff.

Bamberg jolly day 2 25/01/2014. On tap at the Brewpub in Bamberg. Pale yellow straw coloured pour with a big ol’ frothy white head. Aroma is sweet cereal, baked bread, nobel hop. Flavour is sweet cereal, slight wort, andnobel hop finish. Some earthy straw.

Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, Tap at Wild Rose Hotel, 25/01/14. Clear golden with a good sized white head. Nose is light citrus, bread dough, grass - a little thin. Taste comprises pretty much the same, not much depth on this one. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying closure. Ok Helles but lacks depth at the business end.

On tap at Wilde Rose Gausthaus Bamberg. Clear pale gold lasting thick white head. Enormously clean. Subtle noble fragrant hop on the finish. It’s good I really like it. Just stupidly drinkable. Love the lemon curd flavour which lasts into the finish. Wow. Drank this way too quickly. Good.

Draught @ Gasthof Wilde Rose, Bamberg. Clear yellow / golden color with a average frothy good lacing white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, fruit, moderate hoppy, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet nad light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, body is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught. Clear, shiny golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is mild and malty, a little sweet. Slightly vinous aftertaste. Mild, but pleasant carbonation.
