A simple grist of 100% German pilsner malt and fermented cool with a german lager strain, our first hoppy pils is crisp but bursting with citrus aroma.

Hopped with Audacia, Zumo and Azacca we're getting orange zest, pineapple chunks and a touch of pine.

440ml can. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of biscuity malts, slightly earthy, some citrus and grassy hops. Taste of pale malts, biscuit and nutty, slightly earthy, grassy, citrus peel, moderate bitter finish. Light-medium body. Decent lager but not sure it's deserving of the "hoppy" style tag.

Can. Bright clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Fairly smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation emerging pretty late on. Nice malts, a light nutty sweetness segues well into a mild lager tang. Unusual hop choices! Not getting much Azacca or Zumo but, some nice floral layers here which I presume Audacia needs to be credited for. Also getting very soft berries. Cooling pine on the finish. Interesting and very drinkable lager. Nicely done.
