Brewed since 2009 as Brigantia, it was in 2010 selected by J.D. Wetherspoon’s to feature in their Easter Beer Festival, and when renamed in 2014 it immediately won Silver at the S.I.B.A. NW Regional awards. It is a honey toned, refreshing, hoppy, golden ale with gorgeous aromas of tropical fruit and grapefruit sharpness offset by hints of melon and pineapple; the result of large quantities of German, Brewers Gold hops.

Cask handpull at the Ledger Building (JDW), Canary Wharf. Hazy pale gold thin white head. Looks like a German wheat beer. Lemon light tasty wheat beer perfect for summer drinking. Little bit weedy but its Fine. Some decent dryness on finish. Tad herby. Could do with being served colder too.
