(5,2 %, Draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-01-26) Full bodied. Lots of roasted malts and enough hops for taste, too. Impressive stout, resembles a bit an imperial stout.

Bottle. Opaque black, big golden brown head. Roasted, dark chocolate, honey aroma - rumraisin and plums. Chocolate roast base, licorice, preserved fruit finish, honey retronasal. Fairly lightbodied and sparkly, really would have loved alitttle bit more to chew on here. Still, very nice.

Malziger Geruch, angedeutet rauchig. Malzig-trocken-bitterer Antrunk, hopfig, sehr röstig, fast verbrannt. Dabei wirkt diese Mischung etwas scharf. nach und nach wird das Stout herber und röstmalziger. Sehr trockener malzig-herber Abgang, hier deutlich bitterer als och im Mittelteil. Test vom 17.1.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,11,9,12,11,11 - 10,85

50 cL bottle. Pours deep brown almost black with a huge chocolate brown and dense head. Slight roasted and sweet malt aroma, somewhat breadish and caramelish with a note of toffee. Light to medium bodied, slight creamy texture. Flavour is rather dry and holds a hard roasted malt flavour with a minimal note of smoke. There is a slight citric note that goes into a dry bitter hops finish. Light bodied stout, dry and somewhat hoppy.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 2 June 2007) Black colour with brief beige head. Roasted nose with black, heavily roasted coffee, liquorice and chocolate. Roasted taste with notes of strong black coffee, some chocolate and a sweetish hint of wild berries (blueberries). Mainly dry finish with a distinct, but balanced, hop character. Medium body, a hint of sweetness in the middle. Well balanced and very nice stout.
