500 ml botte. Cloudy orange with a foamy head. Very fruity, citrusy, yeasty, estery, some clove, banana, white vine, some balsamic vinegar. Mild dry fruity sourness and sweetness. Medium to light bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, dry fruity citrusy sour sweet finish. Good refreshing Weißbier!

October 2005: 4.6%. 500 ml bottle, many thanks to Gr0ve who supplied it to me from SmartClub Norway. Pours cloudy golden with the typical large hefeweizen head. Strong yeasty aroma with notes of melons, bananas, fermenting fruits and spices. Hints of ammonium. Typical hefe flavour with cloves, not as light-bodied as some other hefes, fairly dry, tolerable hops. Not bad at all. I hope this beer becomes more easily available in Norwegian grocery stores, the ABV allows it.

Lys brun med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter banan og korn. Myk i munnfølelse. Banan, korn, urter og noe tørket aprikos i smak.

Bottle 50cl. @home poured into a weizen glass. Cloudy bit murkish pale golden colour, tall moussy uneven white head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma wheat, lemon, banana, cloves, yeast. Taste medium sweet, light bitter and a tad acidic, malty, grain, lemon, light banana, yeast. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, semi-dry sweet, slightly bitter and a bit acidic aftertaste, all in all a bit atypical hefeweizen but quite decent yet not completely convincing, okay.

Appearance: cloudy gold with a large white frothy head of good retention. Aroma and taste: wheat bread, subtle banana and clove, overripe apples, vegetal hop. Light sweet, low to light bitterness. Mouth feel: light to medium body, lively carbonation. Summary: decent.

Tap. Dark golden, murky. Fresh crisp banana. Tastes like sparkly watery banana that has been left out for a day. I admit I dont like banana.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is wheat, dough, spicy yeast, bananas, everything there, but not the best character. Taste is the same. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation, pretty chalky. Solid.

Tap at Damian, Rozadol. Quite classic weizen, med-full body, high carbonation. Assertive banana and clove, feeling fruity, spicy, but also bready. Easy drinking. Quite good.
