(Bottle) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, floral nose with apricots, plums, citrus, treacle toffee, jasmine and bread. Fruity taste with notes of toast, caramel, candy sugar, citrus, treacle toffee, jasmine and a gentle, floral bitterness. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Doesn’t really stand out, but it’s quite enjoyable.

(Bottle, 0.75 l - BBE 08.08.13, at Helmi Grilli, 20130407) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had Belgian style yeast and caramell. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were Belgian style yeast, caramell, malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was harsh, sweet and bitter. Not a good bière de garde.

Bottled. Amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel, yeast, mild rubbery notes as well as some grains. Flavour is herbal, grainy, a bit rubbery and a bit harsh.

75cl bottle from Alko Arkadia. Poured clear amber with a lasting, white head. Aroma has notes of jasmine rice, vegetables and caramel. Flavor has some metal notes, caramel malt, fruits and alcohol. Warming finish. Thin body.

Bottled 750ml (Arkadia, BB 08/2013)
Clear deep copper color, steady off-white head. Nose has metal, light caramel and some grass. Light to medium bodied. Crisp carbonation. Quite weak palate. Clean, a bit ryeish malty flavor with typical Biere de Garde caramel notes and metal. Oily finish with light alcohol and grassy hoppyness. Uninteresting "drinking beer", but probably works quite well with food.

Ett somrigt öl, friskt och syrligt. Lite veteölkaraktär. Mycket smak men inte så mycket som ligger kvar och växer i gommen. Ett trevligt vår/sommar öl.
