Bottle. Poured an amber orange with a medium beige head that dissipated quickly. Aroma had a combination of malts (caramel) and hops (floral). The flora hops were joined by citrus hops in the flavor and the caramel became more of an undertone.

Bottle at EBF 08. Gold, lasting beige head. Perfumed hoppy, sherbert, bit of grass, bit of yeast. That is very drinkable if not overly complex. Good drying finish though. Some toffee and body, good balance.

bottle 0.6cl irma. Aroma a bit weak for an ipa, but what thre is, is oaky. looks great, very clear and nice off-white head. flaveor is sweet, sugar, honey, and a little hoppy bitterness. flavor is a little bit watery, esp. if it is cold. sort of like if a very good ipa had been mixed with water. alc. totally hidden, very drinkable. when it has heated up a bit it’s a totally different beer, much better.

(Draught at Hilpeä Hauki on 2008-04-19) Copper and clear. Medium sized white head. Some fizziness in palate. Hops in nose. Quite a bit of bitterness in taste with fruitiness and some malts.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with citric notes of orange, apricots and grassy hops. Fruity, malty, slightly citric taste with apricots, citrus and grassy, slightly earthy hop in the finish. Slightly sweetish/sourish hints. Decent, but not really impressive.

Bombay Pale Ale is beautiful reddish beer with white and quite quickly disappearing head. Aroma is tastefull: fruits, sweet concentrated malts and aromatic hops. Nice hopness is balanced with sweetness in the flavour and also nice fruitness is present. Quite easy to drink. Very nice aroma, flavour is not so awesome and hoppness in the end and palate there are something that can do better. Anyway, nice fruits temptates me and fruit-lovers have to taste this and everyone else, this is worth to try.

60cl bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Bright gold with a white head; jammy fruit aroma; the taste is full and tart and rather austere, it’s as if the sweetness has been deleted, leaving a vacuum; this leads to a pleasantly dry and bitter finish, with warming alcohol. This is a fine beer, but it’s definitely missing some fruit and sweetness.

Bottle. Could be better balanced. Hops are a little underdone, and spicy sweetness a little odd. Nevertheless, they almost pull it off. remember this being a little more carbonated and livelier from tap.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sweet fruit, some red berries as well as mild notes of rhubarb pie. Flavour is mixed rhubarb and pumpkin pie along with some spices and flowery hops. A very different brew, and I really like this twisted thing!
