Cask at Lacey's, Bideford. It pours clear amber - brown with a medium foamy white head. The aroma is sweetish toffee notes, dusty, wood, leather and earth. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, dusty, leather, twiggy fruit, wood, astringency and a touch of spice with a very drying finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation. Really pretty dry after a while and has some rawness to it. Saying that it is OK I suppose.

Gravicask, shared with Finn at Plymouth real ale festival 2016. Clear amber body, bubbly beige head, dotted spots on the glass. Slightly roasted grainy malts on the nose. Mixed taste of hop fruits, grass, and caramel malts, lightly roasted roasted. Bittersweet endnotes. Satisfying (23.09.2016).

Bottle picked up from the brewery cheers to Cpt. Birds Eye; clear dark amber pour with a big frothy off white head, aroma has red fruits and some light roast malts, taste has light roast malts, a hint of caramel, red fruits, light bitter.

On cask at Old Market Inn - Holsworthy. A very pretty looking beer, nice ruby to gold look, with a white laced head. A mild citrus, hoppy nose, a bit yeast and biscuits, but nothing outstanding. A little tinny in the taste, but you get used to this as the drink goes down. Thin palate, bitter aftertaste. A good session beer, and not bad for a house ale. NB - Brewery a little ambiguous, based on a bit of heresay with the locals rather than substantiated.
