A Collaboration with Fourpure Brewing. Some of the greatest adventures start in the most unexpected ways. Take Helen Sharman for example; she became the first Brit in space thanks to answering an advert that simply stated, Astronaut wanted. No experience necessary. This collaboration with Fourpure aims to celebrate pioneering women like Helen and blast you to the furthest reaches of flavour. Liberally hopped with Enigma and El Dorado, this Double IPA showcases all that is good about dank and juicy IPAs and promises to boldly take you where no man has gone before.

440ml can from Tesco. Poured a clear golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, zesty citrus fruit, woody hop, light alcohol. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a buttery, malt, juicy citrus, light woody, alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can from Tesco in Rickmansworth, Herts. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, pine aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus, pine, some tropical fruit, quite bitter. It is OK but expected more.

Can picked up at Tesco Inverurie. It pours golden with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is piney, resinous, sweet and sticky, a touch green, oily orange, tangerine and papaya. The taste is dry, bitter, sticky, resinous, piney, weedy, west coast dank, green, grassy, tangerine, bitter orange peel, kumquat, bit of spice and some decent alcohol heat with a drying and warming finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Pretty decent gear, especially for the price point.

Can. Nose is malt, herbal, slight yeast, hint of pine, mango. Taste is peach, mango, soap, floral, apricot, lavender, very malty, hint of honey, touch of resin in the finish. Like a lot of the 'cheap' DIPA and NEIPA in the supermarkets it shows the budgetary restraint as it never seems to get going. It's not bad, just a bit bland, it's not particularly fruity, nor has it got a super charged pine punch. It's fine.
