On keg at Brewdog Lothian Road. Appearance - very deep amber brown with some orange chinks. Nose - vinous, funky and woody. Taste - big balsamic vinegar note with wood and funk following it in. Palate - medium bodied, long and tangy. Overall - this is like Rodenbach plus plus.

Bottle split at Cotts Convention V, thanks to Danny Boyo is my guess, 08/06/19. Copper to amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is funk, light smoke, tangy fruit esters, damp straw. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, damp hay, oak, mellow berry skins, wood must. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a mellow sour edge. Ok sour but not setting my world alight.

Cotts 2019. Fruity sour vinous aroma. Hazy amber. A few strands of white head. Sour. Vinous. That's the flavour too. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Astringent finish. Another enjoyable crisp LEP beer.
