Introducing THROWS– our Mardi Gras King Cake-inspired stout. It was aged in a sweeping blend of bourbon barrels: Elijah Craig, Wild Turkey, and Jim Beam Double Oak. After two years of rumination enclosed in spirit-coated oak, Throws was dosed with Korintje Cinnamon and Ugandan Vanilla. The decadent, elusive profiles of various bourbons meet these pastry hints like the rich center of a cinnamon roll. This beer is set to be one of the most prized throws this Carnival season. Catch it if you can!

500mL bottle, pours black with a tan head. Aroma has plenty of cinnamon, vanilla and a touch of bourbon, with plenty of dark sugars in there. Flavour is loaded with cinnamon upfront, followed by dark sugars, a touch of vanilla, and a hint of barrel. Cinnamon fruit pie finish. Very good.

Bottleshare at CBJ, thanks to Wingman. Near opaque black brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Rich dark malts, good dark chocolate. The vanilla intersects and provides milk chocolate. Rich spicy bourbon barrel, spicy bourbon soaked fruits. Modest coffee. Spicy linger. Nice. Intense.
