Shared with BeerViking and Finn, 330ml bottle at Kernel Brewery Taproom. Decent off-white head over a clear brownish body, laces fine. Rye bread on the nose, hints of caramel. Bread and caramel up front to the taste buds with dried fruits beneath. Hints of resinous bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. A nice last Kernel beer during a great session at the taproom. Cloudwater next. (Bermondsey, London 12.02.2023).

4.3%. Delt med BeerViking & Rune. Ultramørkebrun. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Litt uklar. Lett jordbæraroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken nøtter & gress. Tørr, behagelig bitter avslutning. Balansert.

Hazy amber beer, decent cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thinnish malts, a little malt cream and a touch on unsweet toffee. Hops bring good citric peel and lesser marmalade. Touch of soft pine into a mildly bitterish finish. Comes together well but I prefer the bigger version with beefier malt base.

Tap at the Rake, 30th September 22. Pours clear and light brown red. Aroma is light caramel and aromatic. Taste is light caramel, medium bitter, light pine. Tasty, but nothing special

Cask at Mother Arch ii, 16/09/22. Light haze on a reddish to deep amber pour topped with a decent lasting beige cap. Nose is biscuit, caramel, dried fruits, blood orange, grass, mellow citric shreds. Taste comprises caramel malts, fruit slice, biscuit, grapefruit, melon, candied orange peel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow light juice laden hop bitterness. Solid cask affair.

From cask at The Kernel Taproom 17.08.22. Clear mahogany amber. Beige head and lacing. Fine taste of pale malt, amber malt, syrup, pine, rye bread, rosted nuts and bitter marmalade. Fine grapefruit and pine bitterness in aftertaste.

Tap at kernel arch 7 kernel. A light hazed copper brown coloured pour with a a loose beige head. Aroma is nice tobacco, pine, grass, sticky sap, brown bread. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, layered malts, nutty rye, brown bread, toffee, pine sap, tobacco, green hop. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, mellow carbonation. Some fruity notes. Nice.

On tap at The Made Inn Ashford Cloudy red brown russet colour. lasting beige head. some red berry flavour. strawberry jam flavour. some dryness on finish. some spice no doubt. dry finish. Good rye jam beer. quite dry. OK.
