Can from a friend, first in the style. Pours crystal clear pale yellow with a canny bubbly white head. Fizzy look. Smell undefined, light floral. Taste is thin on the malts profile, mostly on straw and grass, hints of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste mild bitter, thin body, mineral texture. Finish super dry indeed, arid, biting, short-ish and fairly bitter, earthy. Alc.6% but i'd say much less. Not my preference, quite clean though.

Can. Fruity, flowery, citrus nose. Touch of piss, light malt. Light, fruity, again flowery as is common in the style, lemon and orange. The Sweet, a bit too sweet. Ok, not bad for a shite style, actually but not particularly impressed.

Can from my local Natural Lawson. Clear golden, looking even a bit watery. Lightly spicy nose, yeast esters, grassy a d dry. Sweet fruitiness. Tastes dry and fruity, spices there, nice medium linger. Drinks super smooth, light spices, sessionable summer beer. Not offensive in any way, clean and smooth and super dry. Actually liking this, dry and drinks easy.

Yo Ho Boku Biiru Kimi Biiru Brut IPA 6% The aroma is a fruity floral hop bouquet with bready elements. Quite full bodied but that ultra dry finish has my tongue/mouth almost puckering leaving me primed for another sip but unsatiated. A decent beer but another example of why I’m not sold on this style...

Tap at the Watering Hole, Tokyo. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is skunky malt, light citrus fruits, mineral, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, slightly watery, dry, mineral, light fruit, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.
