330ml bottle. Pours gold with a snowstorm of yeast in suspension, which took a good hour to subside enough to take a sip. Has a wine gum sweetness to it, oily palate. Ok overall.

Draft at Spring Valley Brewing, Kyoto. Hazy golden with an off white head. Aroma of herbs, citrus, green weeds and light yeast. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

Tap at a Shinjuku night bar. Poured a hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, wheaty, lemon citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a sweet, lemon lime citrus fruit, light hop palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A wheat beer / 7-Up combo. Not what I expected.

Draft in Sapporo, Japan. Pours pale canary gold, with limited white foam. Aroma is lemony and reminding of soda. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is slightly tart. Finish is kind of short.

Tap at SVB Kyoto in the tasting flight but brewed at their Shiga Factory. Daydream 5% 16 ibu Made with yuzu and sansho, the cloudy gold brew definitely delivers those aromas as well as honey notes. Very perfumy and floral. The beer is light bodied and super dry. The taste is honey yuzu drink and sansho pepper in the finish. Too dry and carbonic for me but ok.

Hazy yellow, bit of white foam over there, relatively hazy. Slightly soft happiness, bit something of artificial but still OK, fruity and citric. Taste brings out yuzu much better than the nose, sansho spiciness is there but super subtle, you can almost not feel it. As the official pairing - with pickled sweet potatoes and celery, this beer works really well. Otherwise finish short, just slight sansho spice glowing in the finish.

Tap at the Daikanyama brew pub. Cloudy golden-orange with lace. Nose is snasho and yuzu mainly. Sweet flavor of yuzu and biscuits. Too sweet and a bit too spicy, but not badly done. Second favorite today.
