A classic belgian dubbel. A good malty backbone made up of munich, vienna, special w and abbey. Classic hops of hallertau and saaz. The yeast is cloned from a trappist brewery and combines with the malt and hops to give this beer characteristics of nuttiness, biscuit and black pepper

On tap at Roundhouse, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of fruity esters, with banana, Belgian yeast, and fruity esters. Flavour is fruity and estery, with lots of banana, perfumey notes, and clove. This is way too estery - the Belgian yeast isn't utilized too well.
