Draft at Tipsy Tap Room, Hong Kong. Black with a thick beige head. Aroma of dark malts, dark chocolate, grassy hops and coffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at the Tipsy Tap, Kowloon. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, grassy, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, dry, malt, grassy, light molasses, citrus fruit, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Full body tons of roasted malt, molasses, treacles and tobacco leafs. Good amout of hoppiness with sweet finish of fruity notes and molasses. Very focused around the malt character but great example for the style.

Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Light cocoa aroma. Light cocoa and grapefruit flavor with pine. Medium bodied. Light cocoa and light grapefruit lingers with light caramel and pine.

On tap at the AQ event at yellow ape craft. It pours a pitch black with a rusty beige head. A big savory chocolate roasty nose with piney citrusy hops in the aroma. Med-full bodied with a lots of roastiness, bitter green piney flavor a bit astringency yet still chocolatey. Alright.

Tap at World Craft Beer Tasting 2014. Nose of chocolate, big hops, pine, citrus, lots of resin. Very bitter flavor, chocolate, coffee. Quite stout-like.
