Can shared with Beerhunter111. Smooth fruity maltiness. Caramel, hints of grain, not too much bitterness. Soft fruity finish, easy to drink caramelly with a subtle sweetness but a lack of depth.

44cl can. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee, wood. Taste of bitter roasted malt, coffee, burned malt, citrus hops.

Süffiger, trocken malziger Beginn. Weich herb schokoladig, steigende Intensität, vollmundig. Die Malzigkeit bleibt hoch und prägend, trocken, lang anhaltend. Gut! 10/10/10/10/9/10

Can split at L6 tasting, picked up somewhere, 21/03/19. Black with a decent thick tan covering. Nose is light chocolate, dried fruits, light charr, roast malts, spice. Taste comprises tangy dark fruits, cocoa sprinkle, roast malts, toffee, dusty hop presence. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Decent enough stout.

440ml can. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate. Taste of roasted malts, dark chocolate, pine, coffee, caramel, dark fruits, charcoal. Medium-full bodied, soft carbonation.

Can from Cotteridge Wines; dark opaque brown pour with a frothy tan head, aroma has light coffee and dark berries, taste has chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, slight bitterness, decent stout from a brewer I associate with pales.

Can shared at the Columbus Tasting 21/03/2019. Many thanks A dark black coloured pour with a lasting loose mid tan head. Aroma is big pine, woody bark, petrol, solvent. Hint of coffee. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, big piney hop, pine needles, bark, brown sugars. Palate is semi sweet, medium sweet, resinous, hop sticky, moderate carboantion.

Can from Cotteridge Wines and shared in Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty sweet oaty malt, toffee caramel, light charcoal. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a roasty, liqouirce, fruity, light alcohol, dry hoppy bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Can shared in London - many thanks to Cloin. Pours clear, deep brown with a. creamy beige head. Nice dark chocolate character, some burnt pine, ashy roast. Medium to full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, more ashy roast, chocolate, torched pine. Very nice.
