Opaque petroleum black with a moderate tan head of decent retention. Roasted barrel, toasted malt, powerful esters, cocoa, chocolate, brandy, nuts, a reasonable amount of American Hops. Perfect thick body. Intense and beautiful. Highest class.

0.25 l can from 'Rebelbeercans', best before September 2034. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, brown head. Intensely sweetish-malty, quite roasty aroma dark chocolate, mocha, roasted hazelnut and some vanilla. Fairly sweet, malty, rather roasty-bitter and a little resiny taste of dark chocolate, mocha, licorice, roasted hazelnut, some vanilla and a touch of pine, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter finish. Full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, almost flat. Heavy and rich but still relatively balanced brew, quite saturating, absolutely delicious.

Mycket gott

Rocky tan head on a still black body. Dark chocolate, boozy & dark spirit aroma. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue thinning out to a clean back. Espresso, dark chocolate, cereal & berry tastes with a bitter peppery finish. A bit thin but loads of taste.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 26/09/24. Black with a good sized tan cap that settles to a spiders web swirl. Nose is chocolate, liquorice, spice, dark malts, raisins, hint of aniseed, oatmeal cookie vibes. Taste comprises dark malts, dried fruit rinds, red berry whisper, booze, dark chocolate shavings, umami, spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a noted kiss of alcohol. Tidy enough booze on impy if running a little hot without the flavour profile to balance.

Black beer, thin tan head. Aroma is rammed with malt, a little liquorice and dark chocolate. Flavour has all that malt again, roasted and sweet. The chocolate and liquorice are there too, which loads of woody quality, treacle, biscuit. Super viscous which I love. Rich, warming, thick. Delicious.

Small can. Pretty much an opaque black brown beer, decent tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, mildly good fine carbonation. Dark chocolate malts, boozy and tangy - bitter. A brief flash of sweeter chocolate covered biscuits. Vague esters. A bit of chocolate vodka on the back end. Quite an airy finish that leaves a long bitter chocolate linger. Takes a little getting used to but good fun.
