Can, gift from Mum. Pink body with a light haze and a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of cherry and blueberries. Flavour of tonic water and strawberry. Thin body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. An interesting and unusual fruit beer.

Drinkable, just. Sweet, a little sugary. Some berry character, bordering on artificial. Mildly medicinal. Berry candy character. Faint tartness. Beavertown never ceases to depress me these days. They were once one of the UK’s best breweries. Now they produce random fruity pop for random offies.

Can from Tesco. Pours clear deep red with a rocky pink head. Aromas of raspberry and blueberry as expected. Taste is fizzy vimto. Not really a beer. Sweet finish.
