Inpired by the smoked beers of Bamberg, this Märzen-style lager utilizes a special smoked Munich malt from Sugar Creek malting. Fire and Bern(stein) is dark, malty, and intensely smoky.

6 oz cask at Cask On! Aroma is smoke and iodine. Flavor follows with some mild earthy grain. Not my style but it is fine. Nothing aggressive

Cask On, cask 3/23/25.
A bit of haze. Deep bronze. Small, off-white head.
Iodine! Wow. Unexpected. Peaty, earthy, moderately malty. Bit of yeast in there yet. Clean though.
Iodine and peat for days. Lean texture but ample malt. But of caramel and biscuit with bitterness and more iodine lingering. Very drinkable provided you like Islay Scotch...
