This slightly sweet porter is brewed with select additions of crystal malts and sea salt to create flavors of peanut brittle and caramel without being cloying. The medium body and mouthfeel lay the perfect foundation to support the rich vanilla, oak, and bourbon flavors imparted by extended aging in bourbon barrels.

Nice evening sipper. I am glad that the bourbon flavor was quite mellow Murky dark pour and a fine head Ok intensity in the aroma Balanced sweetness and a mellow carbonation level Easy to drink Chocolate, toffee, dark malt and mild bourbon in the flavor Quite good masked alcohol level [Can from Systembolaget in Strömstad, Sweden]

Can 35,5 cl. Pours a clear deep, orangey brown with a rich, beige head. Sweet vanilla and Bourbon aroma. Surprisingly thin-bodied, slightly sweet roast. Very little salted caramel to be detected, but very distinct Bourbon accents. No real bitterness and the alcohol is hard to detect. 070123

Can at Malmö Crew Christmas tasting at Palace Hall (17/12/2022) - dark sweet and roasted malty with lots of chocolate, caramel and toffee fudge sweetness, full body, salted dark malty lingering finish. Burk från SB. Mörk brunsvart med khaki-färgad krona. Kola, toffee, lätt choklad-ton, saltkaramell, snäll ton från fatet. Helt ok.

Almost black beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has caramel malts, bourbon, light liquorice. Taste has maltyness, caramel, bourbon, roastiness. Almost full bodied, not stickyness. Unbalanced. I didn't get it, what is tried.

Draft. A- Caramel, lightly, slightly earthy. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Caramel, slightly salty, minerals, cocoa. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, salty finish. O- A couple oz was enough. Good but surprisingly salty and otherwise pretty caramel malt forward. Didn't get any barrel notes. Decent but kinda weak.
