75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Dec 20. Thanks Mike for this. Pours a deep, hazed dark brown with thin tan ring atop. Lovely fudgy rum and chocolate on the nose, continues to taste with some additional chocolate undertones supported by some wondrous pinot noir tannin. Magnificent complexity, much more depth than 2019. One of Wild Beer's finest.

75 cl. 2020 bottle shared with Dennis and Rick @ Dennis and Patries. Black with a beige head. Chocolate, sweet coffee, dark caramel, roasted malts and red wine. Taste is sweet with a vinous sour note and a malt-bitter finish. Very good pastry stout.

2020 bottle. Black. Caramelpudding and vinous notes in the aroma, dominant vinous notes in the sweet flavor. Soft caramel, hint of roast. Tastes like a good red wine with some added caramelpudding.

Tap at Acido Acida, in Ferrara, Italy. Pours black with no foam. Aroma is winey, licorice, molasses, caramel. Body is really thick, with a little tickling carbonation. Taste is overly sweet. Final is fairly long and sweet, again.

Rocky tan head soon left a collar & spotty cover on a rich dark oak coloured still body. Red wine, tannin & woody aroma. Medium bodied, smooth on the tongue with an abrupt dry back. Malt, chocolate, vinous, sweet berries, jam & red wine tastes with an almost sour, tangy finish.
