Imperial Stout + Wine Barrels + Time
The decadence in this beer is derived from our imperial stout base of Wildebeest. It's been accentuated by a hint of acidity and fruit character picked from its barrel ageing in Pinot Noir barrels for upwards to 2 years!

@Carnivale Brettanomyces #7, Wildeman, bruin zonder kraag. aroma van chocolade, mout en toffee en verder wat wijn. Smaken zijn te zuur, balsamico, wijn, azijn, veel te funky dit spul. --- Beer merged from original tick of Wineybeest on 23 Jun 2018 at 12:19 - Score: 5. Original review text: .@Carnivale Brettanomyces #7,@Wildeman, chocolate, butterscotch, way too sour this one, balsamico, vinegar, too funky and too sour for me

Brettfest. Tap at the Wildeman. Black with light tan head. Big sour grain, roasted, red wine, tannins, rotten oak wood. Moderate sweet, overpowering sour and moderate bitter. Full body and soft carbonation. Lots of dry tannins. --- Beer merged from original tick of Wineybeest on 28 Jun 2018 at 22:21 - Score: 7

Very difficult to make sense of, more a barley wine - sour ale hybrid than stout. Interesting, but not completely sold.
