Irish Style Porter brewed with Coconut and Chocolate
Intense pure liquid cacao flavors swirl with popping coconut aromas, all supported by a semi-sweet porter made from loads of our dark chocolate and extra dark caramel malt. This limited release specialty comes around once a year to satisfy that sweet tooth, so get ’em while you can before they disappear. At 6.5% ABV and 25 IBUs, this choconut goodness will have you yellin’ “Pass. Dash. Hit.” all winter long.

Can. Deep, dark brown with a tiny beige head. Aroma is light on the chocolate and heavy on the coconut. Taste is light coffee, chocolate, burnt toast and coconut. Actually not as sweet as one would think.

Can from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark malt, coconut, creamy milk chocolate, caramel, candy bars, cocoa, and nutty notes. Flavour is sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with some pleasant creaminess. Nice coconut Porter, though I wish this was fuller and with more roast than caramel, one can dream... That being said, this is a highly enjoyable coconut venture.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is coconut, some sweet chocolate and mild lactose. Flavour is chocolate, some coconut, sweet malts, mild toasted tones with some milk chocolate as well. A wee bit of vanilla when it warms up.

Dark brown on black can to pint pour @Oscar Blues Brevard. Sticky lace everywhere. Sticky coconut rice, toasted pineapple, strong acid. Shredded oily coconut, strong vanilla, sweet char, big acid. Surprisingly easy to drink. Way lighter perceived abv, no fumes, a little thin. Really tasty.

ABV: 6.5%. Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted - roasted, chocolate, coconut milk, artificial. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, coconut, coconut milk, dak malt, chocolate, artificial. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20230209]

35cl Blik van Beer Republic Advent #1. Diep donkerbruin, beige kraag. Heel veel kokos, verse kokosmelk, chocolade, vloeibare bounty, caramel, wat rood fruit, bitterzoet. Lichte tot medium body.

#1 Beer Republic advent calendar. Murky dark brown with a creamy head. Lots of coconut, chocolate, toffee, licorice, roasted malt, metal, fudge, citrus, robusta coffee. Dry bitterness, chocolate sweetness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry bittersweet finish with a metallic coconut finish. Very tasty, not overly sweet!
