The Hero:
After years of unrelenting boozy experiments on the brew roof, mad scientist Hunk Sir finally produced this secret peacemaker potion which can turn the worst enemies into friends.
The Beer:
This lactose coffee porter is a result of Hunk Sir’s work - turning coffee and porter into best friends.
Based on the traditional English Porter, the dark chocolate and nutty aroma blends perfectly with NODI Espresso Blend coffee. The addition of lactose (playing the role of condensed milk in 啡走) smooths up the body to produce this silky and aromatic Milffee Porter.

Can. Jet black pour, beige head. Nose is strong coffee, earthy notes, some lactosey sweetness. Taste is basically the same with short, somewhat watery coffee finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation, pretty easy drinking.

On tap at Hong Kong Island Taphouse, pours a deep dark brown with an amber tinge with a small tan head. Aroma reveals plenty of coffee upfront, with some earthy notes and toasted malt. Flavour is quite assertive on the coffee upfront, with some red fruits, and toasted malt. Nice fruity coffee character. Good stuff.

Tap at the Freehouse, Singapore. Poured a clear almost black colour with a bubbly round off white head. The aroma is roasty caramel malt, coffee, lactose. The flavour is moderate to light sweet with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, roasty malt, dry coffee, milky, coconut palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation. Smooth rich and plenty going on. An excellent beer.
