Backlog. Hazy orange colour with a mediumsized creamy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, some rye and mild toasted and herbal tones. Flavour is fruity, rye bready, mild spiciness with some yeast and mild citrus too. Citrusy, herbal, earthy and some slight yeasty spiciness in the finish and aftertaste.

440ml can from Mikkeller Webshop. Canned 01/2018. Pours dark orange with a thick white head. Aroma of ripe fruits, yeast, farmyard, hints of citrus and rye. Taste is sweetish, ripe fruity, earthy and grassy with some rye, farmyardy yeast and hints of spices. Finish is smooth and sweetish with some yeast and earthiness. Decent.

Can from Cotteridge Wines, shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a hazy light amber with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is light grainy malt, dry yeast, slightly herbal, light fruit hop. The flavour is dry yeasty bitter with a crisp, yeasty, light fruit, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation and a light bubbly mouthfeel.

Can picked up from Beer Gonzo, shop, Earlsdon, Coventry consumed at home Tuesday 3rd April 2018. Pours orange gold with a white head. Some mushy fruits on the nose, a touch of banana. In the mouth it offers up a pleasant sweetness, banana again, the saison yeast shows a touch of spice. Good if a little confusing. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5
