Cask at GBBF '22 day 1, 02/08/22. Dark mahogany brown with a beige cap that clears edgewards. Nose is biscuit, cocoa powder, dried fruit rinds, dark malts. Taste comprises fruit slice, nutty, coffee, brown bread, chocolate biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close with a dusty hop spattering. Fine for the style.

2nd August 2022
GBBF Day 1. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Suitably earthy brown malts, a touch of semi sweet chocolate. Some ripe fruits on the back end along with a little sherry. Quite a dry finish. Nice brown. Layered and rich.
