Rye barrel-aged imperial stout

This barrel variant of Black Tuesday was aged in premium Rye barrels for 24 months, never seeing time in bourbon barrels. Enjoy familiar notes of dark fruit, vanilla, and wood, elevated further with hints of spice and pepper character unique to the Rye barrels. Often blended in as a key piece of past projects, we’re excited to let Rye barrel-aged Black Tuesday shine on its own for the first time. Pour a glass for you and one for a friend, pair with dark chocolates, and enjoy. Show Less

Keg at Brewdog Shepherds Bush, London. An almost black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Rich, sweet, boozy, whiskey, malty, chocolate, caramel, rye aroma and taste. A big beer which doesn't taste like 20.2% at all. Shame this particular Brewdog bar is closing, never seemed busy since Covid. Good memories though.

Intense dark malty with lots of chocolate and caramel and fudge sweetness, lovely rye whisky soaked wooden accents coming through, full body, light spice into the warming malty boosty finish. Proper winter warmer at 20%, lovely.

20.2% ABV? Woo! Chocolate, vanilla, coconut, boozy, bourbon. Intense stuff, drink with caution! Cheers!
