A chocolate and orange white porter made in collaboration with Brum Beer Babs. Mandarina Bavaria hops and orange zest combine with cocoa nibs and vanilla pods for a luscious chocolate orange flavour.

Handpump at Luppolo Station in Rome. Hazy golden vivid pour with a medium to low white adhesive head. Nose: English yeast, soapy, floral a bit. Mouthfeel: esile body, reminessence of a pale ale, clean...did not get the porter.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata, limpida, schiuma bianca media, discretamente persistente. Al naso note di cioccolato, scorza d'arancia, sapone. In bocca è dolce all'attacco con finale mediamente amaro. Corpo medio, carbonazione esile. No.

Cask at the Reading Beer Festival. Hazy golden-amber. Soapy floral aroma and taste. A little orange comes through but no chocolate. Washing-up liquid is the theme here. Not good. Bit of a shame for something that I realised afterwards was my 2,500th rate.

Keg at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is light malt, yeast, dry grassy orange citrus hop. The flavour is light bitter sweet with a crisp, fresh yeasty, light fruit, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
