500ml bottle. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, chocolate, cherry. The flavour is light sweet with a dry roasty, liqouirce, light dry tart cherry fruit palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

50cl bottle from Aldi, Bracknell. A glossy black pour with a tight tan coloured head; aroma of morello cherries with some milky chocoalte in the background; refreshing with a gentle sour cherry taste and a lactic body; then some well done toast and chocolate to finish. Rather good.

500ml bottle: BBD 31st Jul 2018. Shared with my wife and a relative called Andy on 15th Sep 2017 during a random tasting session. Dark brown body, almost black, beige topping that lasted. Obviously has a cherry aroma and taste, but not overpoweringly so: over toasted malts come through the cherry sweetness flavour wise and I struggled to really enjoy this beer. Just did not do it for me.

(Bottle) Pours black with good tan head. Nice aroma of dark roast malt, cherries, hints of chocolate and nuts. Medium bodied with rather frothy carbonation. Cherries are very present in the taste. There's a burnt toffee taste throughout that becomes quite strong in the end. Doesn't really work for me - the burnt bitterness is a bit harsh and the cherries just a bit odd.
