Mosaic hops lend to this light and fruity ale with a good bitterness and malt balance, coupled with refreshing hop aromatics. This session ale is bit on flavour and light in alcohol.

Can as Red Betty from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is floral and light caramel. Med body, nearly. Flavor is lightly caramel, lightly bitter, and more floral than anything else. Might be a touch of citrus. Ok session IPA.

Bottom of the can stamped \"April 01, 2014.\"
I’m assuming \"born on.\" This is only the second Central City beer I’ve ever been able to pull off.
I poured this into a pint glass.
The appearance had a semi-hazy golden orange color with a decent transparency about it. Light bubbles are seen rising to fill a one finger bubbly along the side foamy in the center white head. She dissipates at a nice pace leaving a fairly clingy lacing here and there.
The smell had a light floral to light spicy and even a light grassy connotation comes into play to combine fairly nicely.
The taste was basically the same with a decent sweet malt to pick up a crisp but balanced feel running over my taste buds..
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body and yes, this is sessionable. The carbonation was actually a bit kinder on the palate as I didn’t get what I expected of an IPA’s harshness but still created a fairly decent smooth effect that did compound a certain stickiness.
Overall, well, its a session IPA. I’m thinking Central City did everything they wanted to do with this one and I’m thinking I would have this again as its a flavorful \"I.S.A.\" as indicated on the can.

Light bronze, barely a head, has a bright almost citra aroma with the canteloupe and cat pee...gooseberry? Taste is beautiful hops - blueberry, raspberry, a touch of sweet crystal malt, but also tropical fruit. A light beer but really nice character.

Poured from a 355mL can. Clear pale golden yellow with full white head. Aroma predominantly grassy hops with some citrusy hops. Taste has a sweet biscuity malt taste at the beginning with some mild hops and strong dry bitter finish. Light body, slightly watery.

2020-10-07, draught at the brewery, as Session Ale, 6-4-6-3-12=31
Dark blond colour, hazy. Very dry, some malt flavour, it doesn't have much hop quality, but it has a quite massive bitterness.
Well, that's what you'll get. I guess I'd drink it with some BBQ if I had to.
Times are changing, this is less impressive today than it was 6 years ago.

2014-02-24, draught at Tap & Barrel, Coal Harbour, Vancouver, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Golden color, clean. The aroma is full of fruity hops, fresh. Lean body, not weak; the malts are a bit caramelly and biscuity; the bitterness level is sensibly high, almost too much in the final, hitting the back of the throat; the hops bring plenty of oils, resiny too.
Clean.
Could be very pleasant with greasy pub food.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, and just enough biscuity malt to hold it together. Flavour is surprisingly strong for a session ale, with lots of piney hops and super crisp biscuity malt. Wonderfully hoppy and with lots of bite. Exceedingly drinkable. Excellent stuff.
