A golden ipa with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, loads of beautiful resinous and piney floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light butterscotch, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. Can from LCBO.

Canette 473ml. Couleur orangée translucide, mousse blanc cassé laissant une légère dentelle. Arôme de malt, touche d’agrumes, houblon fané. Goût de malt caramel, houblon herbal, pamplemousse, amertume moyenne. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen.

On tap at Barley Brothers. Pours a clear orange with an amber hue and an off-white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a light earthy citrus with some grass and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has a light grassy hoppiness with a hint of citrus and a strong sweet grain backbone.

12 oz can poured. Can labeled as Red Betty. Pours an oily golden color with a huge foaming head. Nice grapefruit forward piney aroma and flavor. Nice citrus. Almost picking up a hint of lime, which was surprising. Delicious hop flavor. Very nice session.

Can: Poured a light golden color ale with a large pure white foamy head with great retention and some excellent lacing. Aroma of fresh floral hops notes of citrus with light cereal notes. Taste is also dominated by fresh citrus hops notes with some cereal notes and a light finale. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Very enjoyable beer with nice hops presence though finale was a bit short.

Clear pale amber with a generous white head that recedes slowly and leaves a bunch of lace. Nose is light honey with medium light citrus and floral hops and a touch of spice. Light honey precedes a medium light bitter citrus and mango middle that continues through a clean bitter finish. Medium light oily mouth with average carbonation. Nice session IPA.

La cannette est superbe, surtout la couleur (sauf pour la date d’embouteillage de décembre 2014, compte tenu du style)... Mon seul commentaire est que le houblon amérisant est très présent et celui aromatique absent.

On tap. Pours amber with moderate head. Light aromas of pine and fruit. Stronger flavors carry same with additional citrus. Very nice for the low ABV. A great warm weather beer.

Had this on tap on my first visit to the Ottawa Bier Markt. Pours a slightly hazy golden-amber colour with a head with average retention and decent lacing. Decent hop nose over the grainy malt. Mild bitter mouthfeel with a little dryness in the finish. Taste is fruity with oranges (and other citrus) with the grass. A very nice hopped session ale that is refreshing. Gets a little more bitter with food.

New Beer Distributors, NYC can: Pours light orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus mostly. Taste is light bitterness. Some citrusy fruitiness. A little bit of sweetness. Body is very light, but still not watery. Not a bad session IPA, but kind of forgettable as are many in the style.
