330ml bottle. Poured a clear copper colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light woody hop, some fruity notes. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light watery dry light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty average.

330ml can into lager glass. Aroma of grapefruit, cheese, old socks, some funkiness going on here. Copper coloured beer with solid white head, steady fine carbonation. Slight zing in the mouth, taste is caramel and bitter lemon. Finish is dry with a chalky bitterness. Solid pale ale, quite sweet.

Can. Clear amber with a modest off white head. Aroma of caramel, passionfruit, mango and grass. Tried rather cold and it seems a bit lifeless, although the flavours and balance are OK if a tad meek. Sweet with caramel and some very light bread. Tropical notes are partly masked by the sweetness, but it dries out enough to make the modest bitterness register, and the promised subtle citrus just peeks through as grapefruit pith. Tried rather cold and it seems a bit lifeless. Tried rather cold and it seems a bit lifeless, although the flavours and balance are OK if a tad meek. A bit warmer - 9C - worked better. These folks are owned by Asahi, right? Beat my expectations for what they were trying to do as well as how well they did it.

Big fruity nose, lots of citrus. Orange amber body, small creamy beige head. Taste brings more malt to the mix, faint caramel, biscuity flavors. Finish is a bit flat, ant very bitter, but decent.

(Bottle) Clear amber with tiny, short-lived very loose head. Initial aroma pleasant mix of citrus and tropical fruit over caramel with some cardboard hints, but after a while unfortunately the balance shifts to the caramel and cardboard. Light body, medium carbonation. Taste is watery with citrus at the start, hints of caramel in the mid palate and a little, rather unpleasant somewhat metallic bitterness in the finish. Disappointing - thin and dull, but inoffensive and quaffable.
