Trolltunga is a jutting rock in Norway, hanging 700 metres over lake Ringedalsvatnet. Only the wary tread the path to the very edge. This beer was brewed to celebrate friendship and a love of wild places.

Bottle, courtesy of derA. Pours clear yellow. Aroma is gooseberry, dirty fruit, lacto, funk, some stables. Body is medium, lightly sour and rather tart, fizzy carbonation. Very good balance. Medium berry finish. Great drinking experience.

Keg @ Pilcrow, Manchester. Blonde with a thick head. Its sourness dominates, but behind this a fruitiness is evident.

33cl bottle from Otter’s Tears, Burslem. A slightly hazy amber pour with a thick white head that quickly falls away; gooseberry aroma, not unlike a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc; spritzy in the mouth with a refreshingly tart gooseberry taste; and a rather acidic finish with a hint of pear skins. Rather good.

Very sour with deep over ripe mango skins and gooseberry. Fantastic mix of hops and sourness. Fairly sour. Lots of fruit sourness from gooseberry which is interesting. Very interesting. The hops play well with the sourness. Not overly bitter finish. Very unique. Good stuff

Bottle from Hopduvel. Clear golden colour, white foam, disappears quickly. Nose of tropical fruit, bitter hops, tart berries. Sour taste with bitter hoppy finish. Very well balanced. Nice fruit IPA!

Don't know what to think about this one. It's more a Gose than a farmhouse ipa. Some off flavors.

At Beerlovers bar. Pours rather clear blonde. Small white head. Smell is highly aromatic fruity, a sour/bitter combo underneath. Taste is sour, full, malty, fruits. Bitterness is overpowered by the previous factors. Very intense. Not bad at all ! Rather dry mouthfeel .
