Tap at the Boilermaker House, Melbourne. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is gluey caramel grainy malt, woody hop bitter. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, dry malt, yeast, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

On keg at The Local Taphouse, Sydney. Aroma of biscuit malts, light citrus notes. Taste is crisp, clean, grainy with cracker & biscuit malts & grassy hops. Light bodied, average carb. Dry, lightly bitter finish

Bottle. Very clear pale gold with a fluffy white head. 3+ Aroma of gooseberries, underripe stone fruit, herbs, crackers. Has that good lager body - seems somehow both rich and light. Moderate carbonation. Crackers and a little touch of biscuit, lots of gooseberry, nectarine and grassy NZ hops. Dry finish with fairly high bitterness. I wouldn't have objected to a tad more, but it's pretty hoppy. Proper.

Schooner on tap at the Royal Albert, Sydney. Crystal clear golden amber beer with thin lasting white head. Lightly carbonated. Faint aroma of citrus fruit. Tastes fruity bitter with a solid malt background and grainy finish. Right on style, tastes just as a pilsener should. Excellent quencher.
