We invited Damian across in December to brew a big impy stout! Double mashed & boiled for over 3 hours this is a super thick imperial stout. Conditioned on coconut flakes for over a month with the addition of chocolate and pistachio essence.

330 ml can. Pours black with moderate dark tan head that settles quickly. Aromas of chocolate syrup, vanilla, fudge, soft coconut, and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with more pronounce coconut and quite a bit of sugars. Possibly getting some pistachio, but that might just be my imagination. Very sweet finish. Good, but definitely sweet, even for a Pastry Stout.

330ml can. Pours black with a very thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, maple syrup, caramel. Taste is very sweet, tonnes of chocolate, caramel, seems like there's plenty of maple syrup too although not mentioned anywhere, the coconut is there but fairly light, nuttiness is light too, warming alcohol, light bitterness. Thick full body.
