The aroma is oily, sappy, resinous, pine, toffee, brown bread heady booze, baked goods, hot cross buns, dried fruits, orange marmalade, dried apricot and marzipan. The taste is slick, oily, bitter - sweet, resinous, sappy, pine, punchy bitterness which builds and lingers throughout, warming booze, heat, some astringency, green, weedy, grass, grapefruit, orange peel, peach, mango, zesty, slightly soapy, Irn Bru, nip of peppery spice and some warmth and plenty of bitterness resin through the finish. Fulsome body, fine prickly carbonation and slick, oily mouth feel. Love it. Big, punchy and nostalgic. Brings back the OG joys of high IBU craft.
