A beautiful, red-brown beer, a head is quite small and light beige. Aroma has dried fruits, apricot plum, maybe also raisins, pine, surprisingly fresh. Taste has dried fruitness, prune, raisin, apricot, lots of pine, strong bitterness. Full bodied. Surprisingly (easily) drinkable, even there are lots of heavy nuancees. Very nice beer.

Bottle picked up from TripelB, Worcester and consumed at Jude and Baz's and shared with Baz at Spond, Herefordshire listening to New Music Fix with Nathan Shepherd and Deb Grant on 6Music, Tuesday 3rd March 2026 Dark brown with ruby glints, there was no discernible head. Surprisingly smooth and easy drinking, slightly bitter, hoppy but with a slight fruity twang. The nose has caramel, hedgerow berries, and a little boozy waft. It's warming in the mouth, btw glad that I shared this with Baz. All told a decent eisbock. Score 7.3

Malty, caramely and heavy with some toffee, syrup, loads of grassy hops, resin, lingering bitterness and earthiness. Heavy but surprisingly tasty.

Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A clear reddish copper coloured pour with a a fading halo. Aroma is big boozy fruit cake, nutty, raisin, boozy, bruised grape,. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky, boozy, fruit cake, spicy wooden barrel staves.. Smooth, spicy. Palate is thick chewy hot alcohol, lovely.

Team tasting at CBJ, thanks to me for the bottle. Clear amber beer, a few tan bubbles never come close to forming a head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Brandyish flavours and some obvious alcohol. A little heat and a little more spice. Ripe fruits, touch of coffee. Spicy semi dry finish. Amusing but, Struise have done much better and bigger.

Magus, karamelline, kärakas, mõru, alkone, linnaseline, happeline. Ok, abv kohta (on veel ikka õlle elemendid), aga jah pigem väike kogus sobiks..
