Malty, caramely and heavy with some toffee, syrup, loads of grassy hops, resin, lingering bitterness and earthiness. Heavy but surprisingly tasty.

Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A clear reddish copper coloured pour with a a fading halo. Aroma is big boozy fruit cake, nutty, raisin, boozy, bruised grape,. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky, boozy, fruit cake, spicy wooden barrel staves.. Smooth, spicy. Palate is thick chewy hot alcohol, lovely.

Team tasting at CBJ, thanks to me for the bottle. Clear amber beer, a few tan bubbles never come close to forming a head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Brandyish flavours and some obvious alcohol. A little heat and a little more spice. Ripe fruits, touch of coffee. Spicy semi dry finish. Amusing but, Struise have done much better and bigger.

Magus, karamelline, kärakas, mõru, alkone, linnaseline, happeline. Ok, abv kohta (on veel ikka õlle elemendid), aga jah pigem väike kogus sobiks..

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. It pours clear deep mahogany brown with a small bubbly khaki head. The aroma is oily, sappy, resinous, pine, toffee, brown bread heady booze, baked goods, hot cross buns, dried fruits, orange marmalade, dried apricot and marzipan. The taste is slick, oily, bitter - sweet, resinous, sappy, pine, punchy bitterness which builds and lingers throughout, warming booze, heat, some astringency, green, weedy, grass, grapefruit, orange peel, peach, mango, zesty, slightly soapy, Irn Bru, nip of peppery spice and some warmth and plenty of bitterness resin through the finish. Fulsome body, fine prickly carbonation and slick, oily mouth feel. Love it. Big, punchy and nostalgic. Brings back the OG joys of high IBU craft.

Draft @ De Struise, Oostvleteren. Clear amber pour, good white head. Sappy nose. Flavour profile is surprisingly light for the strength, lacks a big alcohol punch.. gentle marmalade, sappy fruity shades, finishes dry.. pleasant enough but no depth at all. Odd.
